Lakmé Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2015 (LFW) took place from the 18th of March until the 22nd in Mumbai, India. The designer lineup included noted designers like Sabyasachi, Manish Malhotra, Anamika Khanna and Suneet Varma, to name a few, and also up and coming talent. The summer season is all about floral details, bright colors and bold prints. The designers showcased both contemporary pieces and traditional Indian styles and for those visiting the resorts this summer; bikini’s and resort wear. LFW kicked off with a spectacular show by Sabyasachi, which was all about flower prints, stripes and a dash of glitter. Designer Anamika Khanna presented her collection during the Grand Finale. What a show! Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor walked the ramp, wearing a beautiful modern interpretation of a classic Indian dress with intricate embroidery, combined with a silky white cape with silver details.
